C. Edward Goodgame

Ed Goodgame is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee (B.A. cum laude, 1977; J.D. 1981) . Upon graduation from law school, Ed began his career as Vice President/General Counsel for Title Insurance Company of Chattanooga (TIC) where he became very familiar with title insurance, title examinations and real estate closings. Having a desire to experience trial work, Ed became an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Tennessee, Real Property Division in 1985. During his tenure with the Attorney General’s office, Ed was responsible for the handling of eminent domain cases in a twenty county area of middle and east Tennessee. After marrying an Atlanta native, Ed agreed to move to the great state of Georgia and has practiced real estate law in Atlanta since 1990, focusing on residential and commercial real estate closings, as well as foreclosures and landlord/tenant matters.

His hobbies include tennis, music, travel and watching SEC football. He has been married to Anne Simms Goodgame since 1987 and has one daughter, Anne Elizabeth. Ed and his family attend Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
