Lee A. Cohen
Lee was born and raised in Alma, GA. Lee graduated with a degree in finance from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. He earned his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law. Lee is a member of the executive committee of the State Bar of Georgia Real Property Law Section. He is past president of GRECAA (Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association) and currently serves on its board of directors. Lee has written several articles for industry publications and has presented and spoken at residential real estate continuing legal education seminars. He has taught extensively at realtor training and continuing education courses throughout the metro Atlanta area. Since being admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1992, Lee has focused his practice on residential real estate transactions and has conducted thousands of closings during his career.
Lee is married to Edye Cohen, a native Atlantan, They have two college aged daughters. They love to travel and as a family and have visited 5 continents. Lee is an avid sports fan, especially for his alma mater, UGA. He can usually be found in Athens on most gameday Saturdays. Lee enjoys spending time with his family, reading, exercising, hiking and playing golf.
