Margaret N. Paton
Margaret’s primary area of practice is residential real estate transactions. She practiced primarily real estate law since 1996, with a 3 year hiatus as in-house counsel for a national bank. Since joining Campbell and Brannon, she has focused on residential closings, along with title review and curative work. She has experience working with buyers, sellers, investors, real estate agents and mortgage lenders in a variety of real estate transactions. She has experience with business entities, will preparation and probate work, as well as domestic relations. She began her legal career practicing domestic relations litigation, with experience in arbitration, mediation, and guardian ad litem matters.
Margaret moved to Georgia from Wisconsin in 1978. She attended Georgia State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Juris Doctorate from the GSU College of Law.
In her off time, Margaret enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, reading and yoga.
