Katherine Burns joined the Campbell & Brannon team in early 2018. With a strong background in estate planning law, Katherine is an expert in probate and particularly enjoys assisting with real estate transactions involving Trustees, Executors and Administrators.
Katherine is a magna cum laude graduate of the Georgia State University College of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2015. While pursuing her J.D., Katherine interned at the ACLU of Georgia, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and served as a Graduate Research Assistant for the inaugural Women Lead program offered by the J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Prior to attending law school, Katherine held research and development positions at a variety of education-based nonprofit organizations, including Teach for America and The Ethel Walker School.
Katherine resides in Alpharetta with her husband and son. In her spare time, Katherine enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, and supporting philanthropic efforts aimed at improving the lives of women and girls.
