Shawn is a member of Campbell & Brannon’s litigation team. Hailing from McDonough, Georgia, Shawn came to Atlanta via Athens as a Double Dawg.  He obtained undergraduate degrees in Political Science and International Affairs and then his law degree all from the University of Georgia. During law school, Shawn interned with Judge Lark Ingram in the Cobb County Superior Court and also with the EPA’s Office of Regional Counsel. Both gave him firsthand experience with litigation and inspired him to work as a litigator post-graduation. As a member of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law, Shawn authored and published a Note regarding both national and global environmental initiatives. He also received academic credit for working on an independent research project which involved extensive research into state riparian buffer programs.

After law school, Shawn moved to Atlanta and settled into the Old Fourth Ward right across the street from Ponce City Market. He is a very big Atlanta sports fan and one of his favorite activities is tailgating in the fall with family and friends at Falcons and Bulldogs football games. During the spring and summer, Shawn can be found trying out the many different restaurants that Atlanta has to offer.
