J. Michael Campbell
Mike Campbell is an Atlanta native. After graduating from Vanderbilt University (BE 1965, JD 1968), he served three years in the Marine Corps as a trial defense counsel. Mike stayed in the Marine Corps reserves and retired as a Lt. Col. in 1989. Mike has practiced real estate law in Atlanta since 1972 and started his own law firm in 1978. His primary practice areas are residential real estate closings and foreclosures. He is a founding member and former President of the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association. He has served on the Board of Advisors of Vanderbilt Law School since 2008 and has been the speaker or panelist at numerous seminars.
His hobbies include fitness, reading, and sports. He has been married to Minnie Bob Campbell since 1969 and has been partners with Camille Brannon since 1998. He attributes his modest success to surrounding himself with people who are as dedicated as he is to legal excellence and client service.
