John Hocutt is an Atlanta native and alumnus of Sarah Smith and Pace Academy. John received his undergraduate education at Wake Forest University where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1998. John graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2001.
After law school, John practiced litigation for a number of years in Atlanta where he represented clients in federal and state court and led mediations for his clients across the country. John has focused exclusively on real estate law since 2012 and his practice includes the representation of purchasers, sellers, lenders, developers, investors, and businesses in a variety of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including conventional and private financing. John is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia and a member of the Real Property Law Section.
John lives in Underwood Hills with his wife Jennifer and their two daughters Harper and Hallie. John and his family are members of Kairos Church and in his free time, John enjoys playing tennis and doing triathlons.
