Stephen was born in Dover, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia State University in 1976 and his J.D. from Atlanta Law School in 1979. He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1979. While in college and law school he was primarily engaged in title examinations in connection with both residential and commercial transactions in Metro Atlanta and at least 15 counties in North Georgia. Having closed or examined over thirty thousand transactions during his career, his practice focus is residential and commercial real estate. These transactions have included all types of government insured and guaranteed loans, construction loans, acquisition and development, and conventional loans for most of the major lenders, mortgage bankers, including several Atlanta private banks.
Prior to joining Campbell & Brannon, LLC, he was the Managing Partner of his own firm for over 20 years. Stephen has represented buyers, sellers, lenders and homeowners associations and has over 25 years of extensive experience in the preparation of wills and trusts, estate planning, probate, guardianship, corporate and business law.
In addition to the ABA, State Bar of Georgia, Atlanta Bar and a founding member of the North Fulton Bar, Mr. Jenkins is a member of the United States Marine Corp League and Georgia Vietnam Veterans Alliance.
