Whit J. Wood
Whit J. Wood was born in Tifton, Georgia. Whit graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor in Business Administration (2002) with High Honors and a J.D. (2005) with Honors. While in law school, Whit clerked for the Honorable Steve C. Jones who now serves on the United States District Court of the Northern District of Georgia. Whit also served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law.
Prior to joining Campbell and Brannon, LLC, Whit worked for Lord, Bissell & Brook, LLP (now Locke Lord LLP) in the firm’s commercial litigation group representing clients in both federal and state courts, administrative proceedings and various forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Whit represents purchasers, sellers, lenders, developers, investors, and businesses in a variety of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including conventional and private financing, and the acquisition and disposition of properties. He writes frequently on real property law issues, and his work has been featured in various publications and seminars. Additionally, Whit closed the largest grossing single residential real estate transactions in the Atlanta metro area for 2013 and 2014.
Outside the office, Whit is a proud member of the 2015 Atlanta One Group Class which recognizes 25 of Atlanta’s most promising professionals and benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund. Whit enjoys worldwide travel, live music, spoiling his nieces and nephew and is an active member in the Atlanta community.
